Ed Sheeran – 24th June 2018.

Happy July!

This blog is going to be about when I went to see Ed Sheeran on Sunday 24th June 2018, in Cardiff.

On Sunday morning, after we got ready, we went to a pub in town, as England were playing then, so we decided to go down there and have some lunch before we go and get the coach to Cardiff. We went into the pub and we ordered food – I had a chicken burger and it was really nice. We watched the England V Panama game and left just before full time. We walked up to the bus station, where we were meant to catch our coach. The coach arrived and we all got on the coach. I was so excited!

We travelled for only about an hour, as Cardiff is pretty close. We met friends there, so they stayed with us for the day. When we parked up, we walked through the gardens and it was so pretty! At about 4pm we went into an Irish bar called Callaghans and it was nice in there. We stayed in there until about 6 – as Jamie Lawson was performing at 6:30. We walked to our gate, which took about 10 minutes. We got there and they did bag searches and body searches, just in case. We actually got into the stadium at about 6:15, so we had time to chill before Jamie came on stage. I like Jamie, but I wasn’t too bothered about seeing him, as I only knew like one of his songs. Jamie came on at 6:30 and sang for around about 45 minutes.

At 7:30, Anne-Marie came on stage and sang her songs, as she was the main supporting act for Ed. Anne-Marie was really good and I like her. I knew a lot of her songs, so I really enjoyed it. She sang songs like Rockabye, 2002, alarm, trigger etc. She sang for an hour, which felt like 10 minutes. I was having so much fun! Anne-Marie sang extremely well, and she seems like a really nice and down-to-earth person. When Anne-Marie finished, we decided to go to the toilet before Ed came on. We were waiting for a good 30 minutes, so we missed the first two songs of his tracklist – Castle On The Hill and Eraser.

When we got back, it was, even more, busier than it was when Anne-Marie was singing. We found the people we were with and we were watching Ed. Ed came on at 8:45. Ed sang songs like Shape Of You, Dive, Perfect, Nancy Mulligan etc. I knew most of Ed’s songs, so I sang along and took like 500 pictures and about 600 videos. Luckily, Ed didn’t stop to go to the toilet like he did the night before, haha. Ed sang for 1 hour and 45 minutes, which was really good because it was really fun.

Ed finished at 10:30, so when he finished, we left to go back to the coach, which took about 15 minutes. When we got back on the coach we couldn’t move for about an hour, as the traffic was so bad! We finally left at about 11:45, and started heading home. The journey home felt so much longer than the journey there. We arrived home at about 1:15am and we were waiting for a lift for about 30 minutes, so we sat outside of the hospital, at a bus stop.

We got home at about 2am, and I was too hyped to sleep. I finally fell asleep at about 2:30.

Thank you for reading this blog (if you got this far without getting bored) as I

know it wasn’t that interesting.

Holiday!

I haven’t posted a blog in about 2 months, as I literally have nothing to talk about, seeing as I have quite a boring life.

I’ve finally found something to talk about on my blog, so here it goes.

I recently went on holiday to Charmouth, which is in Dorset. I went for a week (Saturday-Saturday) we were meant to stay until Sunday, but the weather wasn’t good, so we decided to come home early. My family has a caravan in Charmouth, which we go to quite frequently. We first started going down about 7-8 years ago, as I had a friend who also used to go down there. We started camping at first, for a few weekends and then decided to get a caravan. So we bought our caravan and it has been down Charmouth ever since.

Saturday:

We travelled down to Charmouth, early Saturday morning – around 10AM, as if we got down early, we could do things in the day. It took us about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there. When we got there, we unpacked all of our clothes and sorted ourselves out. Mine and my brother’s friend was down the caravan at this time, so we decided to go out to the field to play football ( they played and I was either sat on the sideline, or they had forced me to be in-goal 😦 ) We stayed in the park until about 6-7PM that night. My nan has a caravan down Charmouth also. So me, my nan and her friend all sat outside of my nan’s caravan, whilst my granddad and his friend went to the pub. We were sat outside of her caravan and we had a fire lit, and it was really nice, apart from the thunder and lightning, which lasted about an hour. We had the fire lit until midnight, we wanted to toast marshmallows on the fire, but unfortunately, we didn’t have any.

Sunday:

I didn’t really do much on Sunday. I revised, as I am in the middle of doing my GCSEs. Sunday was quite a relaxing day, as all I did was revise.

Monday:

On Monday, I decided that I could not be bothered to do any more revision, so me, Tommy ( my brother ) and Alfie ( our friend ) travelled to Bridport on the Jurassic coaster bus to go and get Dominos. We ordered our dominos, for only £20.00 and it included a pizza, chicken strips, cheese wedges and garlic bread. When we got our food, we went and sat in a field and ate it. It was very hot that day, so we sat in the shade. When we finished our food, we went to go and wait for the bus, but because it was a bank holiday, the busses were every hour. We had to wait 30 minutes for our bus, so we decided to go into Costa while we waited. I bought a summer berries fruit cooler, and it was very nice and refreshing. When we got back, we went into the caravan whilst Tommy and Alfie played Fifa for an hour. After that, we decided to go back up the park to play football again. We were up there for a couple of hours. When we got back, it was pretty late, so we decided to just go back to our caravans.

Tuesday:

On Tuesday, me, my mum and my dad decided to go into Bridport to look around the shops. We left my dad in Costa, as he didn’t want to come shopping. We didn’t buy anything though. Me and my mum met my dad back at Costa and I had another summer berries fruit cooler! When we got back, we decided that we would go to Weymouth to get out tea. We went into bowleaze cove to have our tea. I had chicken nuggets, and my mum, dad and Tommy had fish. It was very nice. After that, we went back to our caravan and didn’t do much after that.

Wednesday:

On Wednesday, me and my dad decided to go and have breakfast in Costa, where I had a ham and cheese toastie, and a pot of tea ( this is the third day that I have had Costa! ). After we had our breakfast, I did a little bit more revision. We went out for a meal on the night-time, so my nan had Cooper for us. We went to the Ship Inn, which was in Exmouth. I had gammon and it was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was very busy, so we went and sat in the function room, and it was just as nice. When we came back from our meal, we went into the clubhouse as my mum wanted to have a game of bingo, so my dad and Tommy had a few games of pool. After bingo, we went back to the caravan, where my brother played his X-Box in the awning, so me and my mum watched Britain’s Got Talent.

Thursday:

On Thursday, me, my mum, my dad, Tommy, Cooper, my nan and granddad all went to Branscombe. It is very hard to get to, as all of the lanes are so small and bendy. At Branscombe, we had a drink in the cafe, and then my mum, Tommy and my nan took Cooper for a run. When Cooper came back from his run, he was covered in mud, so my mum took him to get him cleaned off. When we left, we went into Seaton as my parents wanted to get things for tea for that night. When we got back to the caravan, we washed my dog and my nan and grandad came over to ours. They were drinking alcohol in the awning and my nan and my mum were playing cards. We didn’t do much for the rest of the evening.

Friday:

I didn’t do much again on Friday, as I was doing a little more revision. My dad took my mum out for a meal on the night, so I stayed in with my dog.

Saturday:

On Saturday, we decided to have a barbecue as the weather was okay. My parents went to the shops to get some things for the barbecue. It started to get cold and the clouds were looking pretty dark, so we decided to not have a barbecue and we chose to go home instead, as we could then have an extra day at home before school/work starts again. So we packed up our things and we left around about 4PM.

This was a blog about my holiday, it’s probably not interesting at all, but yeah, I didn’t know what else to write.

I hope you enjoyed it, if you did read it!
